This website is dedicated to Tom Sheard, the first Manxman to win the Isle of Man TT races. His name is already in Isle of Man TT history, alongside the other heroes and great men who have won this prestigious motorcycling event.

I have compiled a book on his life and exploits, so that what I know is put down for those interested in his thirst for victory and in motorcycling history.

T M Sheard – the Modest Manxman concentrates on Tom's racing career, including personally collated reports from newspapers of the time. It also chronicles Tom's personal life and shares family memorabilia. The book is self-published (which means that it has been painstakingly(!) self-typed and arranged then professionally printed), with the price being kept as low as possible (only £10) as I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy it.
